May is Mental Health Awareness Month.

Let’s talk about what we carry—and why we don’t have to carry it alone.

Anno Artem invites artists to submit work for What We Carry, a group exhibition dedicated to de-stigmatizing mental health. This show centers the invisible weight many of us live with—and the transformative power of making it seen, shared, and understood.

We’re seeking artwork that speaks to personal or collective experiences with mental health: the quiet, the chaotic, the healing, the hopeful. Work that holds space for honesty, challenges stigma, and invites empathy.

All interpretations welcome—from introspective to confrontational, poetic to political. Let’s make room for the stories behind the silence.

Submission Guidelines:

Deadline: May 11th
Fee: $30 (non-refundable).
Piece Limit: 3

Exhibition Dates: May 23rd – June 1st, 2025
