This Gallery Supports New Norms

Artist, Robert Rauschenberg said “The artist’s job is to be a witness to his time in history.” That philosophy is embraced by Anthony Nowack and Danielle Kangas, founders of the new Anno Artem Gallery and Studios. Located in the historic train station in downtown Pottstown, this cultural resource joins the thriving arts community in the area.

Nowack, a local artist/photographer, explains “Anno Artem aims to be a resource for artists and a welcoming space for patrons to experience contemporary, socially conscious art.” In addition to exhibiting avant-garde  work of outstanding local artists, the Anno Artem will support artists with gallery rentals, art reproduction services, and events. 

Anno Artem’s first exhibit, which will have a VIP Preview January 20, and a Grand Opening January 24, is entitled “Un-Augural”.
